"You made him lunch for a week?!"
"It was his birthday!" Senga argues.
"Not every day," Nikaido insists.
Senga eyes him closely. "Why? Did you want me to make you lunch?"
"I... no!" Nikaido huffs, but Senga can see right through him.

"What is this?" Nikaido asks.
"Lunch!" Senga chirps, and whips the top off of the handmade bento. It has heart-shaped onigiri and omurice, "Happy Valentine's Day ♥" written in ketchup across the top. There are a few pieces of chocolate tucked into plastic in the corner, and when Nikaido pokes at them, he discovers they're shaped into letters: N-I-K-A

Senga gives him a brilliant smile. "You wanted me to."
"What?" Nikaido looks around quickly, seemingly embarrassed. "When did I say that?"
"You didn't have to," Senga answers, the same bright grin.
Nikaido fidgets nervously, shifting the bento in his hands. "Is this, like... a confession?"
"It wasn't when I made my friend lunch for his birthday."
"For a week?" Nikaido questions.
"So you do remember," Senga points out. "But it wasn't a confession."
"Oh." Disappointment flashes across Nikaido's face, and Senga smiles.
"But this is a confession: I wouldn't mind being your girl."

"Would you rather I confessed to someone else?" Senga laughs.

"So obvious," Senga states, and hands the bento lid over. "Cover that unless you're eating it for breakfast."
"Ah..." Nikaido fumbles with it for a moment before the top snaps in place.
"So?" Senga prompts.
"Hm? So... what?" Nikaido holds the bento close like he's hugging it for comfort.
"Do you accept or what?" Senga asks, somewhat unnecessarily.
Nikaido looks down at the bento in his hands and bites his lip.
"Yeah."
