NEWS agrees, volunteering to provide- at least- temporary shelters.
Yamapi picks the biggest kitten. “Hi, Fatty-chan.”
Ryo takes the girl-cat that’s clawing a lanky male. It claws him instead, until he noogies it into submission.
Massu claims the only non-fighter.
Tegoshi fearlessly takes the scary-looking shorthair.
Shige chooses the much-bullied lanky male while Koyama snuggles the runt. “We should have play dates!” Koyama coos, from beside Yamapi.
Then Fatty-chan bites the runt.
A beat.
“They’ll get along eventually…” Koyama laughs, awkwardly.
Somehow, no one really believes him.
