Someone was sitting outside Ueda Tatsuya’s door.

Ueda stopped, jogging in place as he let his breathing calm down. This was…new. The person-man?-hadn’t been there when Ueda had left for his morning jog an hour ago.

He looks like a hobo, Ueda thought. It was true; the man was dressed in a raggedy hoody and beat-up jeans, the duffle bag sitting next to him in equally bad condition. His hood was up, so it was impossible to tell what he looked like. Ueda shrugged and jogged the last few feet to his door

What the hell?” He let out a laugh that was completely devoid of humor and pressed the heels of his hands to his eyes, sniffing slightly
