Earlier, Koki’s plan to have some quality bro time with Kame-chan had seemed brilliant, but as the evening dragged on, things were not cooperating as well as they could. Perhaps it hadn’t been a good idea to indulge in the chocolate-covered strawberries, even if Koki had had to listen to one of Maru’s long-winded discourses on how amazing they were, especially the ones from the restaurant he’d taken Kame to, and where they still were ( ... )
