A few days ago, I posted my analysis of the new LJ Terms of Service, over on Dreamwidth as usual.  Those of you only reading me here didn't see it, because (as I found out the hard way) crossposting from DW to LJ is now blocked until and unless you *accept*

Am slowly transitioning over to reading on DW as I connect identities to each other.

I moved to DW because everyone has moved.. IMHO new TOS is simply there to help Russian authorities in fighting Russian dissidents, they would enforce it very selectively. (and they don't really care about what they call "gay propaganda", unless one tries to arrange a public event in a center of Moscow). There is an old russian saying: "severity of russian laws is offset by the fact they are usually not enforced.."

Yep -- one reason I use the hard-to-spell jducoeur is that it's more or less globally unique, so I can use the same handle everywhere...
