yay! I thought of you while posting. How are you!?! I haven't heard from you in a bazillion years. I wish I could hang with you or that I would have taken more time to do so while I was near you. If you ever need a vacation, I know of a really cheap place (ahem, free) for you to stay near Denver. I miss you.

there's a deoderant that i use. it's called thai salt and its sea salts with water. no aluminum, very natural. it works for me. i mean, it doesn't stop sweating but it makes sure there is no odor. of course, i sweat major, so it might stop sweating for those who sweat less.

we should not be putting chemicals in our bodies at all.

I've never heard of it. I have this thing that's made with sea salt and it keeps the odor away for a pretty good amount of time, but you're supposed to put it on right when you get out of the shower (your skin needs to be really moist to absorb it) and I *always* forget (I usually forget to put on deodorant too...). If I ever see it though, I will try it out.

it's called thai crystal
http://www.deodorantstones.com/

there's one where you have to roll it on your underarms wet, but there's another one that you can spray it on.

also, the other gross thing about deodorant that people don't know is that you are not supposed to apply it after you shave. because of bacteria remaining on the roll on part will get into your cuts.

Hey Jem, I love you to death, so I apologize if this comes off in a negative way or unappreciative of you being your own person with your own life and your own choices, but why do you choose to smoke? I guess I just know you're a very frugal person (for good reason) and you live a very healthy lifestyle otherwise, so I just don't understand it. And maybe you've stopped smoking, but yeah. I just don't understand smoking is all I guess and was wanting some perspective on that choice.

cool. I didn't know that. I think you might have had a ciggie when I saw you in Boulder City... but as you said, when you're really stressed out. I'm glad to hear that. And congrats, it's supposed to be damn hard I hear.
