It wasn't just the tribute to Kami, it was also the story about Kyo & Die as well. After so much sadness with slim threads of hope, I just had to write something cathartic. Besides, I actually had all three ideas (Kami tribute, Miyavi, and Nightmare) all at the same time - that's why I wrote them all in the same night.

You just ain't right...
So says my mother every day that I've been alive. =D
