I think your best bet would be to submit a quote request to any maker you're interested in and then compare their price/quality/turnaround time/etc.

I mean, these are all good makers! So it might come down to other factors, I would guess.

yeah, that's what I'm figuring is gonna end up happening... Lots of things to consider!

honestly it would depend on which of the characters you'd get, but i threw in my votes for sophie (not just because she just commented right there, haha) for JD and media for the other character. sophie really does great with super-toony, which is what i feel best suits the way you play JD, and media's stuff is seriously getting so good. i've plans to work with both these makers in the near future. :)

I like how you separated it out, one recommendation for one suit vs the other. Both of them definitely turn out with awesome stuff - excellent creativity coming out from both as of recent. That's why all the choices are so tough to rank!

True true - this is just the tip of the iceberg I know... It's tough to refine my search so early! Lots of decisions!

How many years do you want to wait?

How much importance do you put on deadlines?

What are your feelings on anti-deadbeat payment policies?

Do you expect professional backup, e.g. Would you accept being kept waiting for repairs/replacement parts?

Although somewhat controversial, these factors are just as important as what each candidate produces.

All worthwhile questions... I guess things that I've never really thought about because I'm used to making my own things.

You only ever see the finished product with fursuits, not what it takes to get there and stay there.

For customer service feedback, look carefully at which makers get repeat business.
