Not attending AC this year...

Just wasn't in the cards for me this year - the 4th of July generally isn't a good time for me - (I had something slotted in *even before* AC announced their dates last year). After weighing the options, I've gotta go with my original plans. I just wish I could do all the things I had wanted to do for next week

Yeah - what Blooski said. It's prolly the only date they had available in the time range, or one with an attractive rate.

And the rationale of people not needing to take an extra day of vacation is clever and helpful, but does run the risk of people having prior plans. If I didn't have to be elsewhere, I'd totally be stoked that it's on the 4th because of that reason. Mais, c'est la vie...
