Oh, so much love for this ♥ I just keep hearing Liz's "she's my baby" and hoping it resolves anywhere near this well.

This was so good! I can only hope this is what happens. It felt like a very realistic take on all the characters. Just awesome. I love how everyone is at the Salvatore's (or should I say Elena's now?) despite all of the inter-group dislike and confusion, coming together to weather the storm of crazy that is Klaus. <3

I don't know how much of Liz's backstory is cannon and how much is made up (because I haven't seen the last two episodes yet), but whichever it is, I totally loved that part of this story. It makes Liz's initial hate for vampires logical. And I love the ensemble cast and Liz's protectiveness and--of course--that Elijah's present (God, I love that guy).

And, frankly, what I love most is Damon's attitude and his interactions with Liz and Caroline. It just...I don't know...makes sense.
