Oh, thanks so much for this. Not exactly shippy, but it was perfect. Their dance was nice and I loved protective!Damon.

Now I kinda wanna know more about doppelganger!Caroline. God, I love SPN/TVD character crossovers. So many possibilities....

I'm so glad you liked it! I promise, I really did intend to write Dean/Caroline when I started, though I knew it would also have to include some Damon/Caroline because that's just how I am. Somewhere between Sam getting compelled and Alaric beating Dean up, I just lost sight of the goal. XD
