Damn The Heat

Early morning, 40 degrees with the humidity. Our living room is a comfortable 31 degrees at 4 in the morning. Fortunately, the air conditioning in the bedroom is working overtime and we've essentially bunkered down up there (even the dog only comes out to get a drink when someone else is going downstairs...and even that is sporadic at best

I too am rooting for Netherlands. So's my dad. Uruguay has certainly earned their place in the quarterfinals though - they've played very well right from the get go.

Tomorrow will be interesting... Germany v Spain. I'm kidnapping your wife for that one. You should swing by the Whale after work and see your family. *grin*
