[for Savannah]

Still cheerful from the news Jack and Logan had shared with him, Joe spent a good chunk of each day grinning like a bit of an idiot. He knew Logan had seemed a little uncomfortable when he'd mentioned that he knew Savannah and he wasn't sure if part of that was that she didn't want anyone to know. That was possible, though, so he'd tried not to say much to anyone.

Still, it was damn difficult not to go straight to Savannah and ask her all the fucking questions that he had. All he needed to know was that it was happening. Anything else would be fucking rude.

Not that Joe had ever been above being rude.

When he spotted her in the Compound kitchen that morning, though, he managed not to say anything. Heading for the coffee maker, as always, Joe poured himself a cup, then turned to face her, giving her a grin.

"Hey," he said, taking a sip of the hot coffee. "How's it going?"

If she wanted to tell him, he figured she would.
