This is really, really fun. Flirting is good! Noticing -- and being noticed --are good! Daniel's train of thought is highly entertaining, and I loved the image of Jack's primal whooping. I can totally see Jack doing that!

Oh, I'm so relieved. I had this whole other long thing planned out, but I just couldn't hack it out in time. So I lifted a scene from it and somehow this popped into my head. I think it turned out a better story overall, even though I had to drop a lot of the 'romance' you requested, sorry! Happy reading. :)
