White Hot (a drabble)

Daniel checks the table at his side. Wet towels, bowl of water, ice.

On the table before him lies Jack, strapped down securely. His skin glistens with a sheen of mineral oil. His chest rises and falls with nervous, shallow breaths. His inner thighs glow deep pink where Daniel warmed them with the suede flogger.

He is blindfolded. His teeth worry at his lip.

“Shh, Jack,” Daniel says softly.

Jack licks his lips and sighs.

They’ve done this before, but never with the blindfold.

Daniel lifts the paraffin candle and dreamily contemplates where the first drop of wax should fall.

I'm glad you suggested a last minute burst of drabbles, etc. I'd really hoped to get around to writing my new!kink story and I was kind of pouting because I didn't have enough time to myself this past week to write it and do it justice. But, hey! Drabbles I can do! :-)

Dude, I couldn't even get my last-minute microficlet done! I'm so impressed with how you rise to challenges, seriously. And hooray for new!kink story -- I'll be very psyched for it whenever rl gives you time to pay it the attention you've been wanting to.
