*squees* I'm so happy to see that you already posted a new fic! Yay! What a perfect Christmas gift. :D I can't wait to see how John reacts and whether it will tear them apart for good this time. Loved the little glimpses of the boys' epic love, and how it would be obvious for an outsider what they mean to each other. *happy sigh*
I've always gone on the assumption that John was a VERY good hunter. So for him to miss that his sons were together, there had to be other circumstancess distracting him. Tada this was born. Sometimes you're just too close...can't see the forest for the trees.
Ahhh!!! Another great POV story. I love it being John - it addresses so many things. The biggest, of course, being if and when he'll realize S&D's true relationship, and what will his reaction be? Wonderfully done :-D
Ok, I'm going to reserve final judgement of this installment until I see what chapter 2 contains, but IMO if John is supposed to be such a great hunter that he notices patterns in what appear to be random incidents (at least enough to warrant closer looks) the only thing that could keep him from seeing that his sons where romantically involved with each other would be denial-aided by long periods of physical absences from them. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Your characterizations are spot on, and your transitioning between brothers and lovers was so smooth, it couldn't be anything other than natural.
I'm so glad John found out.
NOW I WANT MOAR. ^_^
