I agree with you about Keller. She just doesn't do it for me. The thought of her hooking up with Rodney really annoys me. They're shoving this character down our throats and I'm about to hurl.
And have you noticed that Rodney and John are hardly ever on screen together anymore?
Still, that leaves more screentime for Ronon and John.
Overall, I gave the episode a C-
Without Keler, it could've been B+ or even an A depending on who got the tentacle treatment.
At least Keller was comatose the whole time? I like it when she.. doesn't speak. :D
I want to like her, I do. But.. they need to give her better stuff to do or something. If only she had, oh, confidence in her field of expertise I might give in a little, but it doesn't seem to want to go that way. D:
Haha, it's only two eps in, I'm sure John and Rodney will have time to frolic together.. later. But for now, the next ep will be a John/Ronon lovefest! YAY.
I'd give it a... solid C. Or a solid T for tentacle. I must now write tentacle fic o' doom. Brb.
I felt like that's actually what it was leading up to and YES. I wanted a quirky happy ending.
Not everything needs to end well, but it definitely seemed to me like a silly strange superhero musical amusing romp until Act III. I still don't get wtf the Whedons were trying to even accomplish with that ending. It was like an extra puzzle piece that got wedged into a unicorn puzzle even though it was clearly from one of goldfish in teacups.
