I try really hard to let teachers know on a regular basis when I seem something that makes a note in my brain. Really, when anyone does. I'm trying to become more effusive, though still supremely genuine, in thanking people for what they do. A while back, I thanked our congregation's president for all the hard work he's put in since he took office in the fall. He said I was the first person to thank him. I wish that more folks would stop to express their appreciation. It isn't hard, and it sure makes a difference.

Thanks for being such a great teacher to your students and role model to all of us. I always learn from your posts.
