I should write more often. Last week I went to see Billy Joel and Elton John in concert. It was a great show, although I think that Billy Joel's half was a stronger performance than Elton John. I went with friends from work and we had a great time. Got t-shirts and everything ( Read more... )

It's been many years since I went to a concert. :(

What is your thesis about? If it's ok to ask!

Twitter is similar to facebook right? I never been much of a open online person, but facebook got me beginning of this year and luckily it can be set to "private" like a LJ where only the people that are on your friends list can read it. It's not same as LJ though. I got family on facebook and friends. I wonder if twitter works the same. I have a MySpace but that site totally confused me. ^^;;

Well, I'm basically analyzing a seismic survey in Dickman Field, Kansas. So far I've spent most of my time on background research and picking seismic events in the project. I was going to look at seismic atribute correlation with the producing zone, but just today my prof wrote to suggesting that I look at a different zone. He said he's going to email me some notes he has on it, so I'm going to see what he sends me ( ... )

I don't have the wherewithal to post to LJ, so me on twitter? Not gonna happen.

Sounds like a fun performance though, it's been ages since I last went to a convention.

Wow, very cool! I love both Elton John and Billy Joel's music, although I'm not at all surprised Billy was the stronger preformer. He just seems more..real, and closer to the audience than Elton. But then, I do put a lot of emphasis on celebretys' personalities. I heard that someone went to one of his concerts once, and there was an Animal plush hanging over the drum set. Was it there when you went? Thesis, hmmm? What's it on?
