the bitter green was most likely mizuna, which I have come to consider "not food" after trying to disguise its bitterness in several ways. pity the local farmshares always include some in their greens. *shudder*

I agree! I love all other leafy greens, but mizuna tastes like grass (why do I say that when I've never tasted grass?). Tatsoi, on the other hand, is really nice.

Yay ice cream! I was actually a bit underwhelmed by Bi-Rite. I got some coffee flavor, and didn't like it as much as coffee oreo at JP Licks. I have fond memories of Ici but a friend mentioned they've gone downhill in the last few years.
