i support your ability to burn whatever you like, as long as you don't physically harm anyone or destroy property not your own.

I was of the same sentiment until I heard on NPR why the pastor wanted to burn the Koran - it's not the Bible and is therefore evil.

Oh. It's not just the Koran he wants to burn. I realized - though it wasn't said, only implied - that he really wants to burn *all* books save the Bible. A pathetic trumped-up book burner.

That made me internally balk at the idea of burning any book. I will burn no book because of, or in response to, another's bigotry (and it would give him more publicity anyway).
