This is the thread to which I refer, and as I was reading everyone's comments, I thought, "Hey, I just wrote something that is a lot about what I love about Mr. Jones!"

Glad you liked. Ianto community has been pretty glum lately, and I wanted to write something nice.

This is absolutely adorable, and so perfect for both of them.

I'm glad you like it. I don't write Jack very well when I don't like him much (though he is fictitious), so I'm glad it does sound like him.

Thanks for reading and the kind words.

A really lovely character study. I like that Jack percieves and content of the study about Ianto, your description of how he hordes and coverts everything about those people, like he's filling everything away so when they're gone, he can still recall them all in his mind.

Really great and if not the happy you were going for, then still a thoughtful and musing piece, not without warmth.

Yes, the happy I was going for was much more light-hearted, like the first TW fic I wrote. It clearly did not turn out that way, but I'm at least glad it came through with some feeling of genuine affection.

Indescribably gorgeous and fabulously observant in every element.

What a nice compliment. Thank you so much!

(Hrm... seems like you said something terribly intuitive with which I completely agreed in one of these forum threads I'm talking about here, but I can't put my finger on what...)

If even one person enjoys it, it worth all the heartbreak and alcoholism involved with my process... Ok, I kid (and inappropriately so -- alcoholism, not funny... bad!), but I really am so pleased when people enjoy.
