Ah, if there is any date I love, it is a Friday the 13th. I think 13 is a wonderful number, and yay for Fridays! So nice and chilly outside, so warm and comfy inside. If only I could have some chocolate right about now...

That was wonderful, Janna. I really admire the way you start your stories. The tension and intrigue right at the beginning. Your description of the old man was especially memorable.

Also, the kitty is absolutely adorable *o*

Hehe, thanks. I think very hard about how I'm going to start a story or a chapter. If it doesn't start well, it won't flow right, and then I can't write anything.

As for the kitty, she is adorable. She's a beautiful cat, but she's a wimp. It takes her a long time to get used to people, so as a result, almost no one ever sees her but me and occasionally my parents.
