I finally made it out to Minicon last night. I had a long Thursday so when I got home from work on Friday, I crashed and slept late enough that going out to the con for only a few hours didn't make a lot of sense ( Read more... )

Don't have a pocket program. 'Spose I should have grabbed one at registration. Oh, well, the web site will do just fine. Thanks!

It comes from years of not attending any programming. If party times were only to be found in the program book, I'd probably have picked up the habit.

Everytime I saw you during the con, you were rapt with music. I tried to find you today, but you were gone. But you were killed in absentia... by Instant Runoff Voting. laurel took your place... but she came in 2nd! IRV rules. And you came in first for this year. Thanks minnehaha K for an actual IRV petition with which to hack Laurel to death.

We were kind of rushed. For the third time in a row (Thurs night, Opening Ceremonies and now Closing Ceremonies), the ONLY way to get Harlan Ellison to stop talking was to whisk him off to a book signing. *Maniacal cackle*

Sounds like you did your usual wonderful job with things; handling the unexpected with aplomb. Music raptness did keep me engaged most of the con, I count that as a win.
