So I have mice in my house. Not just your average, run of the mill, cute little furry brown mice. Nooooo, these are SUPER MICE! It's as if mighty mouse bred with splinter from the ninja turtles and they had mutant super mice babies. I have laid out mouse traps with peanut butter and they trip the trap and eat the PB. So I figured they must be ( Read more... )

Ah, alas. I forgot to mention all the baited things I used, including the rat traps..were SNAP! traps. They have snapped them on their own and eaten the food, which is why I went to glue. I figured hey they might be smart enough to snap the trap, but they won't be smart enough to miss the big sticky glue...well I was wrong.

Cats....alas my cat has always been a mouser, which is why I got her 2 years ago. But she's on maternity leave with 4 kittens. Her interest in mice right now is zilch. Im hoping to keep one of those kittens and just prayin' that 2 mousers are better than one.

no mouse trap really works. the mice just send the weak ones out to be trapped to fool you. get a cat, it's what we had to do. and the glue traps are horrible. :)

silly mal,
I have a cat. As a matter of fact I have a cat and 4 of her kittens. All worthless right now! I opened up the cabinet the other day and there was this HUGE mouse (like a good 7+ inches with tail) staring at me, the cat jumped up and touched it nose to nose and it didnt' even run off. When it turned it's back I grabbed it by it's tail, tossed it in a bucket and went down the road and let it go. But until momma cat is done weenin' the little rugrats, I'll end up with a house of intelligent mice for abit.

Stupid Journal pasted anony.

You want a kitten? Please! :-P

we already have 2 cats, one of which is still being a kitten... and one cat is the limit for the trailer... i wish i could help you out! i'm a dumbass who didn't read the comments already posted first, so i am silly for not knowing you have a cat! our cat actually caught a mouse the other morning... maybe you can borrow him, although he's pretty much just lazy and floppy. i think maybe that particular mouse disturbed his sleep, b/c that's about the only thing i can think of that would inspire him to catch one. make sure the mice don't eat the kittens.
