I feel your pain. I grew up with dogs being mostly outdoor pets who only came in the house for brief periods of "cuteness". I like dogs, but until someone breeds a litter trained one... (oh, and I am allergic to dogs so that really saves me the whole issue).

I am also allergic to chickens, but only their feathers, not their delicious, delicious innards!

I love dogs, but having a house dog is not one of my favorite things. My ex and I use to have a real stupid dog who pooped in the house all the time. Needless to say we did not keep him for long. One thing I can't handle is a dumb dog and this dog was dumb as a brick. My son has had a dog for over 6 years now and is the best house dog ever. I think it is because we got him as a pup and was able to potty train him the correct way.

Good luck I think your dog is sweet but I can understand your fustration. You are a good man JJ.
