Puss and Blood

Do you know what smells bad? A wound that is draining puss and blood. A horse at work as a bone infection in his jaw due to an old mandible fracture, and the infection blew out the bottom of his jaw and it has been leaking puss and blood and it smells like i assume death smells like: rotting flesh, nast nasty nasty. Every time I walk past his stall
