Only problem is, if it's the Rubic (? Rubix?) cube, once all five sides are done, the sixth IS done. THerefore, the maximum that can be done without it being solved is four sides.

Otherwise, it's gorgeous. The starting sentence with all the segments. The lyrical, lilting sense of the words. The... fairytale flow and the sweet way it is just so... repetitive. Like a story teller. Almost like a personal narrator, only not quite. Omniscient only it's a personal "it's a secret between you and me, shhh" kind of feel to it.

Gorgeous little ficcy.

Wow...I only wish I had something really intelligent to say.
This, without doubt, has become my favourite short ShikaNeji story. [Well, it's not so much short as it is..non-chaptered...a-anyway.]

It's beautiful. I love the way you got into Neji's mind, and how they always managed to go back to the same thing, and every time it drew them closer. And the comparison of Neji to a puzzle Shikamaru wanted to figure out, and...

It's hard to find ic Shikamaru. I loved the way you had Shikamaru gives Neji the same looks he gave the puzzle, and the slow build-up of the piece.
