I've been recently getting more into power/ epic metal. The bands I've been jamming to a lot are Dragonforce and 3 Inches of Blood. Dragonforce are okay. I don't know what the hype is all about. They seem really fucking corny and I can't take them seriously. 3IoB on the other hand seem a lot better musically imo. I guess cuz they're heavier and

You should try Opeth again...really! As for other bands like this, there are a million and a half of them...I of course cannot think of any of their names except Symphony X.

yea I'll have to check 'em out. I always seem to think Opeth are more black metal, but there's too many metal genres, I'm starting to slightly get confused between 'em all.

hehehe...I guess they are technically black metal, but I'm not sure if they cross genres. I think they rule, but I suppose it's an acquired taste. I know my friends who like the cheesey power metal stuff like Symphony X hehe. There are more bands like DragonForce, but I totlaly forget their names right now. :(

i'll check out cellador when i get the chance. I'm actually getting into Dissection right now. Oh yea, I found a great torrent site for metal stuff...Not sure if you're into downloading stuff or not, but I'll post the link if interested!
