Right, it's almost the middle of January and I haven't posted any derivative fic since before the New Year, but I was poorly, and now am on the mend. Yeah, Ultimates Jan doesn't have a maiden name. Not even a double barrelled name (and she's a young woman), she's always just been Pym.

that scene is crack. It starts off with Carol comparing Strange to Harry Potter wizardy and yeah, stuff. So that's why it was struck off. The mood was too different. But yes, you're holding me accountable, that's good.

Oh, I'm really surprised Janet doesn't have a maiden name - Van Dyne is such a strong identity for 616 Janet. And Van Dyne won't do for Ultimate!verse, of course.

I'm trying to write her story for comics big bang. For a young woman (Janet is about twenty six), she would have had a double barrelled surname, you know? Ults Jan didn't seem that traditional, if you know what I'm saying.
