Dilemma, dilemma...

Yesterday evening I ordered a Samsung Pixon. Apparently it's a really good phone.

Enter problem.

The Samsung Omnia is also a really good phone. Maybe with a camera that's not as impressive, but it does have more other qualities. (The camera isn't that important to me.) Now I'm doubting my decision.

Does any of you have one of either phone? ( Read more... )

A lot of sites say that Samsung wanted to compete with other great camera-phones. Which means, they have the best of the best camera stuff in the Pixon, while other stuff (still good, but...) is lower on the priority list.

The Omnia is a smartphone, and focuses more on the other things. And a 5 megapixel camera is still pretty good, especially if you use that rarely. The Omnia has more standby too, I believe.

I now have a slidephone. Before that I had a clamshell model. The transition to a slidephone seemed huge, but as it turned out, I didn't have a problem with it at all. I don't think the touchscreen is going to be a problem for me. I hope.

I'm leaning more and more towards the Omnia. Especially since you seem to be content with it also.
