And what's wrong with Vimes' lawful wedded wife, pray tell?

You sound happy.

Nothing, really. I actually adore Sybil (how can you not love a Lady Who Organizes?). Like I said, something's wrong with me.

And I am. ^.^

Have you seen the white jade carving that they have that's the really, really, delicate river scene with reeds and birds and such? It looks like elves did it or something but probably took some human master craftsman a year. That is my absolute favorite thing they have and it's not always out on display. If you don't mind, could you give me a heads up if they trot it out again?

I really envy you getting to hang out there.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I love that piece. I don't know off the top of my head if it's on display at the moment, but I'll be there on Saturday, so I'll let you know this weekend.

Have you been in the new wing yet? It's the Contemporary gallery. Right now, there's an international exhibit up, and some of the pieces are really nice (including a few Asian ones).

I don't think I've been there since the new wing opened. I'll have to check that out. Are they doing any extended weeknight hours this Summer?

Hmm...Not sure. I think there are a couple of Museum Nights programs for the summer, but I could be wrong. I'll find out though.

Don't fight it! I love Sybil too, but wish fulfillment is what fic is all about. My Vimes muse is chomping his cigar in anticipation at the thought!

The exhibition sounds very interesting, I would've loved to see it.

Do you listen to music when you write? Because the rhythm of your keystrokes might change along with the rhythm of the music and so might the tone of your writing.

Ever tried writing fanfiction alonside with listening to György Ligeti music? You should, because it's a borderline experience ^__^
