Today could either be absolutely awesome.  Or suck more terribly than any other Monday in history.

So the music department can't schedule classes - apparently no one in admin has figured out keep the class at 25 by automatically capping the class like everyother department in the university.  Their solution was to ask for volunteers to switch to the earlier section of the same class - 9:00 instead of 10:30.  When that didn't work, they said they ( Read more... )

At least school looks doable this semester - It doesn't look like too much work and reading aside from music history (of doom).  Oh and orchestra...lets see what chair I get.  I might die if I'm principle.  Still need a baton for conducting...no Harry Potter analogies please.

So the quartet arrangement I've worked on for the last half of the summer is too traditional for the guy I was writing it for....so I've decided instead of scrapping it entirely, I'll arrange it into a passacaglia quartet.  The chord structure I was working with before makes this a doable change, and coincindentally so I'm not stealing his chords ( Read more... )

This could possibly have been the best weekend all summer.  Let's recap:

If you thought I was obsessed over getting a bike before, the obsession is much worse now that I've actually gotten to ride one.

Class was fabulous, and hot, and sweaty, and early, but for my very first time on a bike I don't suck nearly as much as I thought I would.  I'll try to update after the last class tomorrow afternoon.

Patriot Harley Davidson has my bike on sale :D

They've got 2 Sportster 883's, a blue 2004 for $5,995, and a black 2003 for $5,495.

This means I might actually be able to afford one before school starts!
