I wanted to go to NYU so badly. And my auditioned sucked so much ass it was awful.

But.

It is faaaaaaar too much money for undergrad. You should go for the grad program, and get your undergrad at another school you like.

Have you been to New York? I honestly do feel safe their, but to each their own, right?

I felt perfectly safe in New York, and we even rode the subway system underneath the Bronx. It was seriously one of the coolest places I could ever imagine being. But it does cost a lot of money, so I agree with Jillian in perhaps going to someplace close for undergrad, and then you'd be able to take weekend trips to New York City or something.

Hey! Why not try out Ithaca? *nudge nudge* It seriously has one of the best music programs on the east coast. And it has lots of opportunities for musicians in the city; they're big into live music and stuff.
