This was utterly lovely and perfect and fabulous and everything I could possibly have hoped for and then some.

Adored the characters here, and your use of language to bring about the same mood as that of the series (with a bonus glimpse of Browncoat history) and Zoe being awesome, in love with Wash and not unfond of Mal. Who was his own special brand of charming here, leaving Wash to be the uh blushing groom? (Okay, not quite but there was that 'Is it just me or is it hot in here' exchange.)

Oh, I'm so glad you liked this. I hadn't gone back to Firefly for a while and I have to say it was very nice to be able to do so. (I was looking through all my transcripts for the show as an aside while writing this, and kept being distracted by how terrific the language was, plus all that history between Mal and Zoe. A good distraction.) Thank you again!
