Running a mile in more time...

I came to school today in order to do some prep work for the break, meet with my supervisor, review an exam, and get a general head start. I had originally planned on going to the 1215 spin class, but when I got to the gym, they stated they had cancelled classes due to spring break. FAIL. I'd be disappointed, as well, if I were in your position, but try to look at it this way: If you did it in less time than that once, you can do it again. It's been TWO MONTHS! But only two months. You can get back to where you were in no time!

I haven't worked out in days and I feel miserable for it. I have space in our bedroom, though, and Hubs says he's okay with letting me have the room to myself for an hour a day to exercise. Of course, while Little Brother is at work, I can work out in the living room, too. :)

Don't beat yourself up, though. We all have a million "Day 1" moments. This one can be yours. I'm sure in a matter of a week or so, you'll be doing much better!

I'm excited for you! It sounds like the new place will be much better for you in the long run.

I'm trying not to be disappointed, but to be realistic. I haven't ran for two months and I have faulty shoes which are causing shin splints. Once we can afford new shoes (I'll keep using these for spin), I'm sure I'll be back to running in no time.

On a positive note, my friend's size 17 jeans? I was pulling them up all night. I don't know what that means (am I a size 14?) but it makes me happy all the same.

Thanks!

I hope it will be. We're running into drama here and there and it's frustrating, but I'm trying to smile.

Woot!! Great job! And the shoes will definitely help!
