I haven't enjoyed a movie this much to go out and buy the book in prolly 12 years! I LOVED IT! -Go see it! We got to see the preview showing, thanks to Mike's friend Nel! It was AWESOME! Woody Harrelson and Robert Downey Jr are frickin' awesome! They play off of eachother so well! The beginning credits set up the movie perfectly! K. Reeves ( Read more... )

The style of presentation is called "rotoscoping". The actors are shot on film and then the filmmakers go in and paint over every frame either by hand (like Ralph Bakshi did in the old "LotR" cartoon movie) or with a computer (like this movie). It's also the way George Lucas's lightsabers glow. Someone goes in and draws in every frame.

I'm interested in purchasing the book. I bet there is alot more to the book than they had in the movie. At least, I would hope so.

I just got done reading "Fight Club". I enjoyed the book, it was a little different from the movie, and there were some items that were left out. Plus, more inner monologues/thoughts from the charachter. It was also kind of cool, because the book was written from that person's point of view. When he spoke he didn't have quotes, because it was him speaking. It was weird as first, then cool later. I liked it! And the ending was different than the movie.
