apparently they say that people complained of me spamming, which I don't understand bc I don't recall doing anything that would be considered spamming...

Isn't spamming like putting ads up and trying to sell people stuff?...in which case I never saw you do that. I ALWAYS check my flist's page and never saw anything like that!...Jerks! They didn't even give any warning?!
