Over at Marvel.com, the esteemed web home of Marvel Comics, they've been running a series of articles about Marvel's history entitled MAKE MINE MARVEL.  The series tracks things in Marvel's history that remind one of their "greatness," such as the Mego dolls of the 70's and Marvel Universe cards, neither of which was all that "great" in my opinion ( Read more... )

Perhaps. But, compared to the Roger Corman FF movie, Cap is brilliant! :)

And, it's much more entertaining than David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury from the Fox TV movie... :)

Do you remember the two Cap America tv-movies from the late 70's? At about the time of the Spidey live action tv-series? :) Now those were stinkers... :)

Well, you are correct that the Reb Brown CAPTAIN AMERICA TV movie of the 70's was worse. CA with a motorcycle helmet for a costume was pretty low.

As you may know, the FF movie wasn't even made to be released. It was just done to tie up the rights for the use of the FF characters for another ten years.
