I agree with you about Mamma Mia. The stage version was soooo much better. There was no life in the movie theatre. Oh and everyone laughed at Pierce too. That was just bad. Overall a decent movie. They did however pick some nice eye candy for the groomsmen!

I loved him in History Boys!! I think he had the coolest name too... Dakin. This movie definetly showed him off a LOT more :D

hahahahahahaha! i had never heard that story before, although i may have since it was in the back of my head when i read this (Pia Zadora, right?)...it is a shame, since he was the only part (and only his singing, really) that brought the movie down for me and made me overanalyze the rest of it.

i think that is the thing...i was discussing with a friend of mine last night, the merits of seeing the musical on stage before the movie, and it may in fact work out better to see the movie first.

I saw the movie on Sunday. I have to agree with you. Overall, the actors' vocals are horrible, especially Pierce Brosnan's.
