Had Christmas at my Dad's house instead of Papaw's.  Just not the same without Grandmother Carlene. Finally got the rest of the Commodore 64/128 Dad had been promising me for the past two years or more.  And

Thanks, Lilly, for "taking up with me" (seems an apt Mississippi phrase, no? Indeed, I have a lovely friend living near Jackson; I think she'd like it).

Your post here today is great, even if I'm not much of a housekeeper, myself. Joanne is such a fussbudget about cleaning that I just can't please her with my casual efforts.

Must bat off now to write a post on "my" Florida State guys beating Auburn tonight! Then to bed...

I'm a lousy housekeeper since my second pregnancy. I was nauseous the majority of it and kept to bed a lot for fear of puking more. The house kind of fell apart and I haven't really had the energy since then to get the entire thing straightened out. I can get most of it clean, if we are going to have company, but a lot will get shoved into a room that is off limits or something. I'm trying to rectify the situation this year and have the entire house organized and clean and keep it that way. It's really keeping it that way that is the problem. No dishwasher sucks for me, b/c I really hate doing dishes and it is one of those never ending chores.
