I am really wishing we had HBO right now. I just discovered that one of my fave actresses (Anna Paquin) is starring in a vampire show on HBO. ARRGH!!! lmao the series is called True Blood, it's based off of my FAVORITE book series, and while I haven't seen an entire episode, I've seen the trailer and it doesn't stay true to the book series which is kinda grrr for me XD

Okay, I have seen most of the first episode and all of the third, and it seems to be staying pretty close to the books to me. I know the opening of the first episode was almost exact to the book (where it comes in on Sookie) They did a little world set up before the theme song bit, and then it was to Sookie in the bar. She talked a bit more than in the book but that is because a lot of people are irritated by the internal monologue voice overs, so tv/movie folks don't like to do them much.

I really like what I've seen of the show so far.
