It's taken me this long to let everything kinda sink in...I had to sleep on it. And I must say, that was the best sleep I've had all week! (I guess I didn't realize I was so anxious about the finale ;p)

Now the result is I'm working on a long comparison post between the two seasons and about Dean, of course.
Oh And Dean hugged Sam, but sam didn't respend properly ;)

I've been thinking the same thing. Despite Sam being the 'special' one, it was Dean who was the hero. It shows how the demons can totally underestimate Dean's loyalty and love for his family.

And I am worried about Sam and how he might be different since he came back. He looked like Evil!Sam when he killed Jake and before he even knew that Jake had actually killed him, he said he wanted to "tear him apart". O__O Oh, Sam!

I'm hoping that since next season will obviously be about trying to save Dean if that means things will be more focused on him?

He knew Jake had stabbed him, but when he said he was gonna tear Jake apart, he didn't know Jake had actually killed him. And even when Ava was summoning the demon to kill him and he knew she had killed Andy, he wasn't to the point of killing her to stop her. I just seems like "the old Sam" wouldn't have said "I'm gonna tear him apart." just for stabbing him in the back.
BTW, I think he's still Sam...just a little darker. ;)
