 My life is in boxes. My suitcase is packed for Colorado, and the rest of my stuff is packed for East Nashville.

It's taken a lot of bullshit, last-minute repairs, money, and a lot of energy, but we might actually be rid of this house. It's never truly felt like us, like home. The next house feels more like home than here ever did, and we don't have

I like Dave's philosophy, though I wonder if I'm too high strung to make something like that work. It sounds like May's fabulous, and I'm stoked for you guys about the house! It's nice to be excited about something (um, esp. your living quarters!) like that.

On the curtain tip, Urban Outfitters is really where it's at if you're gonna buy 'em and not do the ebay/thrift store thing (thrift stores have great finds sometimes), imho. I'm a curtain fanatic. And I always bitch because there is def a shortage of cute/funky/trendy/clever (and reasonably priced) curtains out there. So I end up making my own. If I weren't so busy, I'd offer custom orders...I think that's Elle's department though!

I bought two sets of UO curtains, both of which I adore. I've always loved the colorful retro vibe of your house, and so I am working on adding more patterns and colors to my house
