I don't understand how I've gone so long without knowing exactly who he is. You should check out that Jezebel post, it links to a LJ community that found a pretty rare out-of-print Edward Gorey book. I want it but now it's like $100 on Amazon.

I hate to comment on the same bit that everybody else is focused on, but YES! Yay, Jayne!!! I totally wish I was more willing to give some of my Edward Gorey stuff away. Sadly, I'm not.

I will say, though, that at various points over the past few years, I've found Edward Gorey books in the bargain section at B&N for super reasonable prices. Granted, my copy of one of the Amphigorey books is paperback, but I've also found hardcover.

Hopefully this info. will help somehow. (Er, maybe I should be telling Dave this? Haha.)

I've never seen Rebecca, but always meant to, as my mom was all about it...if it's what I'm thinking it is.
