Veru interesting about the self-pub one as well. There is still a lot of stigma re that as a publishing route, so it's nice to hear about the success stories.
I think I read an article where it said self publishing might do well now as apparently a lot of authors are self publishing as e-books for download on Amazon and doing really well out of it & also there are several sites like Lulu that let you self publish as many or as few books as you want and you can then opt to sell them via the site or sell them yourself.
