Sowing Seed

Galatians 6: 7-8 says "Be not deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life

You sow seed by giving yourself.
Exactly.

Too often we are trying to reap spiritual results (more peace, more joy, more victory) but we haven't planted any seed.
That's right. That's why some Christians think "it doesn't work" -- they've never planted any seed.
