I know I was probably on the list of "maybe delete" because of my erratic posting, so I'm glad to see we're still friends. LJ friends, the closest kind, ha ha. I take surviving the pruning as a compliment, so I just wanted to let you know that you and journal are interesting as ever and I still read them both as I can.
Part of the LJ issue is that it's basically drama and angst. Seriously, when everybody first started using it, that's what it was. I, myself, have gotten too old for a lot of it. I still like to post what is going on, but honestly, my life in Korea is actually really boring. If I don't get this university professorship, then I'm going to pretty much be teaching English day-in and day-out for the next year again
( ... )
I'm on a similar level as my brother, and was also a bit miffed that what I thought was a "mass-lock-down of Journal" setting actually was not. Do I really have to go back and mark all my posts as private or delete them? There are no mass controls for that sort of thing!
That or I'm missing them because LiveJournal is incredibly user unfriendly.
Still, I've found that anything I WOULD talk about I...well, I discuss it on GamerTagged, or my Critical Hit blog on GameKrib. There are places where I feel I get more reaction. LiveJournal is basically how I keep in touch with very few folks, and honestly I'd rather just get rid of it as a whole.
Well, you have a lot of places to express yourself. You have ever since I've known you, and you compartmentalize what you have to say into all those different places. So if you have other places to say the things you would have said in livejournal, you probably won't use your LJ much.

Anyway, I took not getting removed as a "nice to know you."
So I was saying "nice to know you too Josh," ha ha.
