I thought I'd licked that virus on my computer. Not so! Turns out it's infected essentially every .exe file on my computer. And so, my Windows install is trashed. It lasted a good long while without the need for an overhaul, that's for sure

Toe swollen and purple doesn't sound good. You might want to see a doctor. Bleeding can occur under the nail and that can be all kinds of messed up and unpleasant.

Good thing is broken toes only hurt for about two to four days. Then, magically, pain is gone. Take it from me. I've had four broken toes. Yes, four. Each time, the pain got incredible, to the point where I could only walk by taking baby steps. And every time, the very next day the pain peaked, it vanished entirely to the point where I could actually run and stuff.

I actually broke my big toe (don't remember which one) in sixth grade or so. Not pleasant. I don't think this hurt nearly that bad, iirc.
