I loved this before and I still love it! You've got such a way with describing the scene (um, especially describing Jayne) it really makes it come alive.

And the phrases you use just kill me! "weren't her cup of oolong" "ruttin' choppysticks" I just love them!

So, this is the one you got a plot bunny to continue, yes? *hopes*

The plot bunny continues well after this installment, after the events of the BDM. It's up to 1,000 words at the moment and I have no idea where it's going.

This is so ggod. I first read it on fff.net, but I love reading it again.

Squish_67 is right. It's the way you put you've written it, capturing the way Kaylee and Jayne speak...

And that attractions is electric. Just lovely. Shiny!!

Thanx. I had a struggle with their voices at first, and was worried I was coming across too 'hick'. Years of writing Spuffy fic had my mental ear trained more to Spike's English accent and it was tricky turning that around.

I too am a fan from before. My favorite part of this is when Kaylee burns herself and Jayne steps in to tend. Made ME gulp event this time, and I knew it was coming!

What's this I read about you CONTINUING this story line? Is it so?

Hi Reenie! *waves* Thanks for commenting. I completely understand the gulp-age. The thought of Jayne at my back makes me weak in the knees...and I wrote the damn thing! ;P
As I mentioned to Squish the new part pics up a lot later.

Wow! I missed this over on fffnet, so I'm REALLY glad you posted it here! Very nice. Almost steamy, even. You have a good way of being descriptive without it getting in the way. Very spiffy indeed. Can't wait for more! :)
